At Ridgeland Student Ministries, we know that students want to connect intentionally with others. Because of this, we aim to create opportunities to gather in the midst of life, with a mix of fun outings and regular discipleship gatherings that seek to create belonging and foster faith development.
We meet weekly for Sunday Hangouts, a morning of donuts and conversation, and on Wednesday Nights for Midweek Game Nights! For a schedule of upcoming events, check out our calendar! We also host monthly events, doing something new in the Chicagoland area each time.

Ridgeland Student Ministries Coordinator
"Hi there! My name is Joy Miller, and I currently serve as the coordinator for Ridgeland Student Ministries. I want Ridgeland Church to be a safe space for students 6th-12th grade to learn about Jesus, ask questions, and dive deeper into what it means to live life on the journey of faith! I firmly believe faith is meant to be an ongoing process of growth throughout our lives, and I want to help provide students with tools to grow on that journey in community with one another and the rest of the church.
I’ve been part of the Ridgeland Church staff since April of 2022, and I’ve loved it so far! Before that, I was a student at Olivet Nazarene University, first receiving my Bachelors in Christian Education in 2021, then my Masters of Missional Multiplication in 2023.
In my spare time, I love drinking chai tea lattes, reading, playing piano and guitar, and hanging out with friends (whether it's grabbing coffee, watching movies, or playing games)!"
